La Roue Arrière MAVIC COSMIC SL 40 à Pneus propose un aérodynamisme de haut-niveau, une accélération efficace et un pilotage amélioré grâce à la technologie Road Tubeless.

Cette roue de route polyvalente en carbone est idéale pour les cyclistes à la recherche de l’équilibre parfait entre poids, aérodynamisme et efficacité. De nouveaux rayons et moyeux donnent à la Cosmic SL 40 de la légèreté et de la réactivité en côte et en relance. Haute de 40 mm, la jante est spécialement conçue pour un soutien sans faille à tous types de performances sur terrain plat et vallonné.

Avec son nouveau profil de jante, monter et démonter un pneu n’a jamais été si facile. Le système UST Tubeless ne nécessite pas de chambre à air, donc pas de friction. De plus, un plus grand volume d’air permet un pilotage plus souple. Résultat : une vitesse accrue, avec une résistance au roulement fortement réduite.

Associées à la nouvelle plateforme de moyeu Infinity, qui garantit une réactivité en toute situation, ces roues sont plus rigides et plus efficaces. La Cosmic SL 40 est spécialement conçue pour les freins sur jante.

Elles peuvent être équipées de cassettes Shimano, et sont convertibles en Campagnolo et SRAM XD-R au moyen de corps de roue libre en option. Ces roues sont conçues, fabriquées et brevetées par Mavic, à Annecy, et entièrement fabriquées à la main sur le site européen.

These work very well, but when you remove them from the box, you see two donuts, one grey, one black, of 75 tightly wrapped cable ties each. So far, so good. First deficiency: The "how to use" pictures---three of them---are tiny light line drawings in 7/16" x 7/16" boxes. If you don't have a 400-power microscope, maybe a magnifying glass will do. Maybe Velcro---a "name" brand that should know better---thinks that the use of these devices is obvious. Well, "obvious" is obvious only when it's obvious, and that can vary from person to person. They should assume nothing. Second deficiency: Before trying (and, one hopes, succeeding) at using these ties, one must determine exactly now to remove the first tie from the outside of either donut. Obvious? No, not really, because, as it turned out, it requires some effort to remove the first one---the placement and circumstances of which do not at all (not on my set of these, anyway) suggest in any concrete way which one should be taken first. No one wants to tear up a couple of ties just to figure out how not to tear up ties by removing them incorrectly or out of order. The punishment here is four stars that could have been five.
